The Witcher III shows off Charles Dance’s voice-acting chops

Due out in the next month, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is an incredibly polished, open-world fantasy epic. Players will take control of Geralt of Rivia, an albino, mutant monster-hunter, in the midst of an invasion of the Northern Kingdoms by the Nilfgaardian Empire.

During the game the White Wolf will cross paths with the Nilfgaardian Emperor, Emhyr var Emreis, voiced by famed Game of Thrones actor Charles Dance. Take a look at this newly released footage of Charles in the recording studio, talking about his first role as a videogame character.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is due out on May 19th on PC, PS4 and XBox One. How do you feel about this amazing looking title? Are you a Game of Thrones fan? What do you think about Charles Dance’s voice being put to the Nilfgaardian Emperor? Is it surprising that he has never worked in videogame voice-acting before? Let us know in the comments.
